Community Outreach Specialist
NAUC TWOANDHALF LLC dba Atlanta Urgent Care has one opening available for the position of Community Outreach Specialist with the following qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field. Requires one year of experience working in a marketing or Public Relations capacity for a medical or dental practice, serving as spokesperson at community health events. Must be available to work weekends. Must submit criminal background check.
Job duties for the position include:
- Promote, create, and implement a strategic public image for the medical facility to increase its visibility within thesurrounding communities.
- Write marketing and informational materials such as presentations, brochures, bulletins, and newsletters using MS tools such as Word and PowerPoint to be posted digitally or to be used at various events.
- Plan and implement the medical practice outreach strategy.
- Schedule regular outreach exhibitions in the community and educate employees on community responsibility.
- Maintain a calendar of outreach activities, including community events, workshops, and fundraising events.
- Participate as a spokesperson for the medical practice on a range of events in the community such as health screening and testing events.
- Maintain and update database to ensure effective communication channels.
